This is a part-time position. Its responsibilities include the initial and ongoing design/development of the Berlin Public Schools website. Early on the core technologies running the website involed the use of IIS 5.0, and Active Server Pages (ASP) with dynamic database connectivity to continually maintain an up-to-date interface as well as provide a secure web-based administration interface to allow editing of the site. Later on things were moved to an apache/lamp setup with drupal as a content management system.
